Transport: Mini van will be waiting in front of the reception to take you on top of the hill where you downhill hiking is starting
Activity:
· Drive to the starting point of the hiking trail, approximately 40 minutes away, via a serpentine road protected by UNESCO. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the entire Bay of Kotor, the Adriatic Sea, and surrounding mountains.
· The hiking tour begins at around 900 meters above sea level and continues downhill for the entire duration, covering a distance of 6 km to Kotor. The initial part of the trail winds through dense, beautiful forests until reaching the old caravan path, once the sole connection between the sea and the mountains.
· At one point, you'll arrive at the village of Špiljari, where the remains of a former settlement stand. Today, only one family resides here without access to automobiles (at an altitude of 300 meters). Take a delightful break here to sample homemade pomegranate juice, goat cheese, or some local brandy.
· After this village, you'll have approximately 30-40 minutes of walking left until the end of the tour. Your guide will point out additional points of interest along the way.
· Note: Upon reaching the mountain, there's an optional zipline activity available for those interested. The zipline costs €15 per person, payable on-site for those willing to try it out.
