We've got a diverse group here, with Converters and their families joining us worldwide. For many of us, this is our first meeting in person. Some items to consider as we make memories:
1. Embrace our diversity
Consideration, patience, and curiosity keep us open-minded toward each other!
2. This is an all-ages event
Even if they don’t speak your language, awareness of it and your behavior when children are present is crucial.
3. Break away from technology
Enjoy the serendipitous moments! Don’t be glued to your screens.
4. Look out for others
Awareness of your surroundings and others’ comfort creates safer spaces for all.
5. Preparation and Punctuality
Showing up on time and prepared shows respect to the organizers of your events.
6. Alcohol in moderation
Be kind to your body, and the family-friendly nature of the event.
7. Environmental stewardship
Let's leave the spaces we enjoy better than we found them.
8. We're Ambassadors…
For Convert and for our countries. Let’s stay curious and open to the local culture and customs. Enjoy the service from the hotel staff with appreciation.
9. Relax and unwind
Most importantly, remember this is a retreat, not a workcation. Spend time doing activities that make you happy and take personal time to recharge.
