Implementation Overview

Arda Cards make replenishment simple. Arda Cloud makes it smart.

Summary

Archer is transitioning from prototyping to scale production, where on-time delivery and certification readiness are mission-critical. While SAP will remain the system of record, it cannot provide the flexibility or speed necessary at the operator level. Arda delivers a platform of execution seamlessly integrated to SAP: Arda’s simple card interface drives a sophisticated replenishment engine that optimizes inventory in real-time based on actual consumption, build plans, and even global market conditions, while reporting to SAP automatically. August’s engine department pilot proved that Arda can eliminate stockouts, streamline replenishment from a 30+ step process to an effortless, 30-second workflow, and save each department tens of thousands of dollars each month in wasted labor. Scaling Arda across Powertrain, Airframe, and ARC will protect Archer’s production ramp and partner commitments while unlocking millions in annual efficiency gains.

Proposal Overview

Arda transformed the engine department overnight with a targeted, small deployment of Arda Cards for critical components. Okay. During the pilot, the engine department went from 1-2 stockouts per week to zero, saving 8-10 hours a week, worth $10k–$15k in labor alone. This is a proposal to replicating the engine department’s overnight efficiency gains across the entire operation by 2026 by standardizing replenishment processes across the organization.

Archer’s Business Goals

Ramp production in Georgia from 2 aircraft/month in 2025 toward 650 aircraft/year by 2030.
Deliver on USAF ($142M+) and United Airlines commitments.

Background About Arda

Arda is sophisticated material replenishment management software with a physical user interface. Arda Cards are the easiest way for operators to signal that replenishment is necessary. And Arda Cloud is a real-time optimization engine that uses card scan data to optimize replenishment parameters.
Operator-first interface for the shop floor (Arda Cards), with deep leadership visibility into true material flow and readiness (Arda Cloud).
Using consumption data, production plans, and external signals, Arda has helped customers collapse lead times by up to 50% and 5x throughput while decreasing inventory levels 80%.

Case Study: Engine

Before Arda: 1–2 stockouts/week, 26+ steps to initiate SAP material transfer request, Slack tagging 17+ people/request, Best case 60-minute replenishment time, 30 minutes of which is tedious manual labor.
With Arda: Zero stockouts in 4 weeks, 8-10 hours/month downtime avoided - $10k–$15k value in just labor savings.
Result: Pilot proved stockout elimination, high technician adoption, and immediate, modular, and scalable ROI.

Statement of Work

Phase 1 – Battery & Process Discovery (200 items - 3 weeks): Address Archer's most critical need for reliable material replenishment in the battery department while further refining our process for end-to-end material flow optimization at the department level.
Phase 2 – Engine & Process Expansion (200 items - 2 weeks): Replicate the process developed during the battery rollout across the engine line with Arda's executive team, as well as additional team members who will be augmenting the remainder of the process to ensure that delivery targets are met.
Phase 3 – Airframe (400 items - 6 weeks - can be accelerated to 3 weeks): We can double the throughput of this process with a few more team members and tackle 400 items in the airframe department within three weeks.
Phase 4 - ARC (Scale Unknown): With now a proven cadence of 200 items per team per 3 weeks. Understand the scope of deployment at the ARC facility and specifically map our process developed in San Jose to the requirements of this new facility as requirements are surfaced.
Ongoing Optimization: Continuous feedback loops to adapt reorder points and lead times in real time.

Pricing

Base cost of $1 per card, per month, on an ongoing basis.
Add-ons to the base cost will come with the achievement of bespoke feature development milestones, such as
A dedicated SAP integration with your system (estimated $1 per card additional)
A dedicated Jira integration with your system (estimated $.50 per card additional)
In exchange for a one-year commitment to 8,000 cards ($96,000), we will waive our typical implementation fee of $3,000 per person per day ($540,000 for San Jose).
An additional implementation fee may need to be assessed for team expansion in order to run multiple processes of 200 cards in size in parallel.
