The Background pattern is an extension of the brand’s Filipino Identity. It serves to add texture to any layout it’s applied on.

Elements

The pattern consists of 2 basic elements; The 8-pointed sun(left), and the 8-pointed star(right).

Construction

ARC-BGPat-CON-04.png

Copy the star and create a 4-star pattern, as seen on the left. Make sure the flat sides are overlapping each other.
ARC-BGPat-CON-06.png
Place the 8-pointed sun inside the 2 stars aligned horizontally. Make sure to maintain proportions. Group these elements together.

ARC-BGPat-CON-07.png
Copy and paste the group in a repeating pattern. As seen on the left.

ARC-BGPat-CON-08.png
Group all the objects together and set the opacity to 25%.

The background pattern must not extend beyond the border. Apply a clipping mask to keep the pattern inside the border lines.
