Lola Tseudonym will start on 6/5/2023 as a Designer. The People Ops team will coordinate most of their onboarding process but there are a few tasks that we need you to complete as well. Please see the action items below:
1. First, we’d like you to send Lola a welcome email as soon as you can congratulating them for joining the team and introducing yourself as their manager if you have not been in contact. If you have been in touch recently, you can reach out again at your discretion. Their email is .
2. Please assign Lola an Onboarding Buddy. Remember, onboarding buddies make sure the New Hire feels welcomed at Coda and starts on the path to success. This person will essentially be their cheerleader, helping them enjoy their beginnings at Coda.

Barring extreme circumstances, it is important that you meet with your new hire on their first day to set expectations for their first few weeks at Coda. Be sure to schedule weekly 1:1s and connect the new hires to any role-specific onboarding materials.
