While climate organisations and other NI groups have created a joint open letter, we also want to extend this opportunity to individuals who want to act on a green recovery. This will again show public appetite for a green recovery in Northern Ireland, while also providing information for the representative on the subject.
Below is a letter that anyone can send to their local representative (e.g. MLA, MP, Councillor). Copy and paste the document into an email and add the representative’s email.
Alternatively, if you are up for it, we recommend writing your own letter to your representatives, it shows the range of voices in the constituency asking for a green recovery. You can always use the one above as the foundations of your own!
