Color Scheme

1. What is a Color Scheme?

A template may have numerous color controls, which brings up an issue for the user where they need to change each individual color to get the desired result. This is where automated color schemes come in.
A color scheme will group color controls algorithmically - based on hue, saturation and brightness - so that all colors with a similar HSB are grouped into a color cluster. When a user changes the color of the cluster, all contained color controls will also be changed, while keeping the shading differences intact.
In order to create a color cluster:
Enter and click “Color Scheme” in the sidebar (paint roller icon).
To generate a color cluster automatically adjust the Threshold and click “Generate”.
The threshold defines how similar the colors should be in order to form a cluster. Lower values correspond to more sensitivity, i.e. the colors must be closer to each other to be clustered together.
To manually create a cluster click “+ New cluster”.
In order to rename a cluster, type a corresponding name in the text box on the left.
Clusters for Whites/Grays/Blacks cannot be renamed.
To reorder colors simply drag 'n drop from one cluster to another.
