Administrates Music Ministry Volunteers and Leaders Weekly commitment: 15-20 hours Responsibilities
Order, schedule, and communicate the liturgical elements of the weekly Gathered Worship services (e.g., scheduling Music Ministry Leaders, musicians, Scripture readers, and pastoral prayers) Lead the Gathered Worship service about three times per month Provide strategic leadership of music ministry in alignment with TBC’s philosophy of ministry Oversee the duties of Music Ministry Leaders and serve in capacities as needed Review new songs with the Lead Pastor and ensure lyrics are consistent with church’s theological and doctrinal beliefs Work alongside Lead Pastor to coordinate worship elements with sermon series Maintain and troubleshoot sound, light, and media equipment Provide pastoral care to volunteers and leaders Staff reviews to take place on six-month schedule Presence at special church events (Harvest Festival, conferences, etc.) Core Competencies
