Connections are where you configure the details required to connect to a model or API. For example, OpenAI or Azure OpenAI.
Each type of connection has different required parameters, so be careful! When you attempt to save, we’ll test the connection to the API on your behalf, to ensure it is configured correctly.
Don’t worry!
Although we collect your key so that it can be used on your behalf, it is stored with a secure strong encryption, and is only usable when connecting to the TraceParrot Gateway with an API Key that you configure and control.
If you’re ever worried, simply deactivate the API Key in your provider (e.g. OpenAI).
