This Privacy Policy explains how the Rippling Pack for Coda ("the Pack") handles data when you use it. We are committed to being transparent about what data flows through the Pack and how it is used.

1. What the Pack does with your data

The Pack acts as a connector between your Rippling account and your Coda document. When you use the Pack:

Your Rippling API token is stored securely by Coda's platform on your behalf. The Pack maker does not have access to your token.

The Pack makes requests to the Rippling API using your token and returns the results to your Coda document.

We do not store, log, collect, or retain any personal data retrieved from your Rippling account on any server operated by us.

All data processing happens within the Coda platform infrastructure. Please refer to

for details of how Coda stores and processes data within your documents.

2. Data accessed

Depending on which Pack features you use, the Pack may access the following categories of data from your Rippling account:

Employee profile data (name, job title, email address, department, work location, employment type, start and end dates)

Compensation information (salary, currency, pay period) — if your token has entitlement to this data

Leave and absence records (dates, type, status, hours)

Organisational data (departments, teams, work locations, employment types)

This data is retrieved solely to display it in your Coda document and to perform the actions you explicitly trigger (such as approving a leave request).

3. Data we do not collect

We do not:

Store your Rippling API token.

Log or retain API responses containing personal data.

Use your data for advertising, analytics, or any purpose other than powering the Pack's features.

Share your data with any third party other than Rippling (to fulfil your requests) and Coda (which hosts your document).

4. Children's data

The Pack is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly process data relating to children through this Pack.

5. Your rights

The personal data accessed through this Pack originates in your Rippling account. Rights to access, correct, or delete that data should be exercised directly in Rippling or through your organisation's Rippling administrator. For data held within your Coda document, please refer to Coda's Privacy Policy.

6. Security

The Pack relies on the security mechanisms provided by Coda's platform for token storage and data transmission (including TLS encryption in transit). We recommend following Rippling's best practices for API token security, including rotating tokens if you suspect they have been compromised.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
