and @Greg. Since you’ll be representing Budapest Local Hub on the global summit it’s importnat we practice your pitches. Below are some sales materials to help you prep for that, once we meet I’ll do my best to polish your pitches.
Anatomy of an elevator pitch A good elevator pitch packs a lot of value into a small package. The pitch may only be two sentences long, but it should still contain a memorable hook, showcase your offer's value, and demonstrate a powerful differentiator.
The hook: This element doesn't need to be fancy or complicated. Make it simple and get straight to the point—while grabbing attention. Personal stories and unique statistics are both great ways to do this. For example, if you're pitching an online collaboration tool, your hook could be something like: "73% of all teams will have remote workers by 2028." The : This is where you provide an overview of the value you're bringing to the table. Discuss what you're pitching and what it does, research your listener's unique needs beforehand, and prepare a compelling argument for how you can meet them. The evidence: The person you're talking to may be nodding, but that doesn't necessarily mean your point is getting across. Some proof of past success or stats that speak to your success could make that nodding a lot more genuine. The differentiator: Let them know that you're different—that your product or service isn't just another iteration of what came before. You get brownie points for originality and not quoting any movies. The call to action: Make sure you're inviting your audience to take action. They have all the details, and they might be interested. It's time to bring it home with a clear . Ask them to connect with you on LinkedIn, invite them for a coffee chat, share contact information, and make sure there's an opportunity to follow up on the conversation. Plus watch these videos and focus on how the pitches were personal, a good sales pitch isn’t technical. It’s emotional! Notice how the presenters were inducing ceratin feelings in the audience, it’s those feelings that form a connection, a willinges to listen and get curious about the project/product/service. So reflect on your audience by understing their needs and how your project is meeting them. For exmaple: Aren’t you tired of working hard for your food?! Aren’t you tired of eating food that has less and less tastes as the years go by? Aren’t you tired of having to read every label with religouis meticoulseness? That is of course if you care about eating food with actuall noutirents. #HOOK# The pleadian gardens are here to make your life easier by utilizing the genius of permaculture desing.
