The Effect of Our Decisions

To fully understand that you are where you are as a result of your decisions, do the following:
Choose an area of your life from the .
Reflect on the choices you have made in the past that may have contributed to your current situation. If you chose finances, consider the decisions that contributed to your current financial situation. For example, perhaps you had the choice of starting a business or staying in your current job. Or maybe you could have contributed more to your IRA or pension plan. The purpose of this exercise isn’t to make you feel bad for past decisions but to trace your decisions to where you are right now. Remember, every decision not to do something is still a decision.
List at least five decisions (big or small) you have made or didn’t make over the last five years that have contributed to where you are in that area of your life.
