An investigation of natural and human-generated electricity with a deep dive into creating, manipulating, and understanding electrical circuits.


THE PLAN

The unit consists of ~6 weeks of classes and readings and ~2 weeks for end-of-unit student demonstrations. Each class is directed by slide decks and activity plans. Homework is always reading with a reading quiz/form.

Students are assigned readings for every class. The readings come from this customized textbook. Students must complete a reading quizette for every reading (2-4 questions)

END OF UNIT DEMONSTRATIONS

At the end of the unit, each student will choose a way for them to demonstrate their understanding. The formats include written tests, presentations, and model-building. All formats include a written component.
