SPARK's (pilot) ensemble
Be part of shaping SPARK’s first ever ensemble! ✨
We’ve been plotting something very special…
Maybe you’ve heard the rumour: We're slowly but surely building a new improv ensemble, a in-house SPARK group of performing improvisers. And we want YOU to be part of its first steps.
This is not an audition call. Instead, we’re looking for people interested in learning a brand new format (the pilot of our next production) and performing in our upcoming shows.
✨ WHAT IS AN ENSEMBLE? ✨
An improv ensemble is a regular group of players who rehearse together, grow together, and perform together.
✨ WHO IS THIS FOR ? ✨
The process is open to all former and current BOOTCAMP Students. We will be opening the rehearsals to all those who:
➡️ are willing to commit to learning a brand new show.
➡️ are available for most rehearsals (2 out of 3 dates / month)
➡️ are available for at least 1 show (out of the 3 dates)
✨WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? ✨
You don’t need to be an improv superstar (just yet) – but we have some pre-requisites:
🎓 Having followed / following our BOOTCAMP course
🎭 Being excited to show up, play, and work as a team.
🧪 Wanting to explore formats, push ideas, and be part of the “building phase” of the ensemble.
📆 Being available for some (or all) of our upcoming show try-out dates (+rehearsals)
This is also an experimentation for us - so don’t worry if you feel like you are jumping in the unknown… we are too.
✨WHEN ARE THE REHEARSALS? ✨
To prepare for the shows, we organised 3 dates in May and 3 dates in June.
Ideally, you are able to participate in at least 2 out of 3 rehearsals.
But we are open to discuss it together!

The location is still to be decided, but most probably in one of SPARK usual locations.
✨WHEN ARE THE SHOWS? ✨
We already have three dates lined up to try out this group on stage:
📍 Thursday 29 May – Rotterdam
📍 Thursday 26 June – Rotterdam
📍 Friday 27 June – Den Haag (at ImproNation)
These shows are a test run – to explore chemistry and try things out. It’s also a way to stretch yourself and see if this is for you.
