06 Mar: Ranyaka Introductions

Overview:

An introductory meeting with Ranyaka’s Community Transformation team.

The meeting was held in the Voorstekraal Community Hall.

After brief introductions, Amy presented the Ranyaka methodology. All agreed that the time was right for a process like this in the valley.

The meeting concluded with a discussion around what comes after the “snapshot” session. Michael expressed concerns about attempting to address the inevitable issues that will come out of the session using “Business-as-Usual” thinking.

Amy offered to set up a meeting with the founders of Ranyaka. This is the meeting that took place on
