Overview:
An introductory meeting with one of the co-founders of Ranyaka, the founders of Beloved Creation and some of the key individuals in the Valley of Six.
The meeting took place at Via’s Coffee Shop in Greyton.

The purpose of the meeting was to explore possible pathways forward after the conclusion of Ranyaka’s proposed ‘snapshot’ dialogue, scheduled for 18 April, the date agreed in the .
After a round of introductions, the group engaged in wide-ranging and profoundly moving discussions of “post-capitalist realities.” The extensive explorations covered the possibility of the valley working towards a living laboratory or prototype of the theoretical models developed by others globally.
Michael presented a brief overview of as a potential path forward regarding historical land claim tensions. He touched on the need to transition from to . He also mentioned the deep desire to include a spiritual element in the proposed transformation, as well as the need for and the healing of collective trauma.
We briefly mentioned the following living examples:

There was general agreement that, although the journey would not be easy, it was a worthwhile journey to embark on.
The meeting concluded with a roadtrip to the commonage, Genadendal and Bereaville. The meeting was rounded out with a group prayer led by Leon.
The next step is the community engagement process conducted by Ranyaka on 18 April.
