Anonymous Dory

Background

Anonymity with friction. This idea was developed for those who want the primary behavior in Q&A to be named and attributable but are ok with having another way to submit anonymous questions (with a bit of friction).

Instructions

to a new doc or existing doc
Publish the form and embed it below the table.
Delete the Form view titled Form View of Anonymous Dory.
Add a new topic. Want to be anonymous? Expand the Add a question anonymously section below the table and submit a the form. Be sure to change Submit as in the top right of the form to Anonymous.
Upvote the topics in the Dory by clicking the reaction in the Upvote column.
Answer questions in the order they are ranked.
Toggle on Discussed on any topic that is completed to grey it out.
Enjoy the feeling of robust questions that can only come from both attributable and anonymous sourcing!
Advanced instructions:
To approve anonymous questions prior to submission:
Add a checkbox column to the Dory. Name it Approved.
Have the anonymous submission add to the table, but have the Dory view filter to only show questions where Submitter != Anonymous or Approved = true .
Create another view on a backend page with the unapproved questions. Filter it to only show questions where Submitter = Anonymous .
Review those questions on the backend page. Check the questions approved as appropriate. They will auto-populate in the main view of the Dory.
