Suspension

In the event of suspension, RORA will provide you with a written notice of suspension, setting out the reason(s) for suspension and the expected duration. If you are suspended with pay, your normal salary and employment benefits will continue during the suspension period. If you are suspended without pay, you will not receive your normal salary and employment benefits during the suspension period. In this situation, RORA will make sure that the suspension period without pay is not excessively prolonged.
RORA will conduct an investigation of the circumstances that prompted the suspension. If it is found that no wrongdoing occurred and the matter is resolved, the suspension will be ended and you will be reinstated with all of your benefits and back pay for any period of unpaid suspension. It’s important to note that suspension does not mean termination of employment, however, RORA reserves the right to take further action, including disciplinary measures, if justified by the investigation’s findings.
