Managing a finance team
Organises finance team through weekly catch ups and sets up appropriate communication channels Compiles a visual project plan identifying tasks and setting out deadlines and team are confiudent that they know what they need to work on Demonstrates a detailed understanding of ongoing finance priorities and other tasks Project plans how the FinOps function needs to develop over the next 6 months Reporting to decision-makers
Understands the plans for the business and interprets how the finance function will need to change to support them Uses financial experience and knowledge of the partner’s operating model to help with improvements to their FinOps function Running a finance function
Identifies new FinOps tools or processes to implement with partners Identifies processes that could be automated and provides solutions Shares new tools to, as a team, “fix bikes” Takes a lead on the more complex processes and tasks such as R&D work and FP&A
