Case study interview (1hr)

This interview involves a roleplay task (brief will be sent 1 day prior) wherein you take on the role of a FinOps Manager speak with a fictional partner, followed by a conversation to assess your understanding of RORA.

Meet the senior team (30m)

This is an informal chat with our senior team to give you an opportunity to learn more about the role and about RORA and help you understand the expectations of this role. Do come prepared with questions!

We’re always open and looking for great candidates. However, we can’t always guarantee an immediate start date.

I. Call with RORA - 30m

Based on your CV and application form, our Recruitment squad will screen your profile. If your application is unsuccesful, you will hear from us - reach out if you haven’t!
If your application is successful, you will receive an invitation to book a call with someone from our Recruitment Squad. This is just a brief chat to give you an opportunity to learn more about RORA and the role, and for us to get to know you a bit better. This stage is more like an informal chat to see if there is a match. This is a good opportunity to help you set your expectations about the role and clarify any doubts you may have.

II. Case study interview - 1hr 30m

Following on from the intial call, if the role is a good fit for you and for us, you will be invited to a 1hr 30m case study interview which comprises both technical and behavioural elements. Ahead of the task, we would like you to prepare a list of priorities and recommendations of systems and process improvements based on a fictional start-up that we would like you to present during the interview, followed by a Q&A and more informal conversation. There will be plenty of time for any questions you may have!

III. Behavioural interview - 45m

If you pass the technical assessment, you will be invited to a behavioural interview, wherein you roleplay as a FinOps Lead at RORA, and have a conversation with a fictional partner and later a FinOps Manager. There will be plenty of time for any questions you may have!

IV. Informal AMA chat - 30m

If you pass the above assessment, you will be invited to an Informal AMA chat with a FinOps Lead at RORA. This meeting is an opportunity for you to ask questions about the job, about RORA, about our business model, about our partners, and whatever else comes to your mind - no topic is off limits! Keep in mind that this step of the process is driven by you, so do come prepared with your questions, and for that we would recommend going through our . This meeting is entirely for your benefit and is not evaluated!

III. Chat with COO - 30m

If you pass the behavioural interview, you will be invited to have a chat with our COO. This is an informal conversation to get to know you better and help you understand expecations of this role. This is also a great opportunity to learn about the business so don’t hold back any questions!

IV. Touching base again - 15m

After the COO chat, our Recruitment Squad will invite you to a call to learn more about your experience with the application process and hear feedback on the interview process. Through this call we would want to give you an opportunity to ask all your doubts, clarify all inhibitions and collect all relevant information before making the big decision. We aim to be completely transparent in this call, and expect the same in return.

Tips for the interviews

Keep in mind that the application process is a two-way evaluation process and thus, there will be plenty of time set aside for you to ask as many questions as you’d like about RORA and the role - our interviewers love it when you ask questions.
