When the founding team crossed paths at Google, YouTube, and Microsoft, they saw their teams stretch the limits of what spreadsheets and documents could do. Then in 2014, they banded together to build the doc they always wanted. A new doc that’s familiar and flexible like the documents you’re used to, yet comes with building blocks you can combine to create docs as powerful as apps.
Coda brings the best of spreadsheets and documents into a single surface, and allows everyone to collaborate in the same doc, but in their own way, off a single source of truth.
