Digital Career Persona (DCP) - Advanced Hard skills and Soft skills Profiling
Digital Career Persona (DCP) - Advanced Hard Skills and Soft Skills Profiling
Current condition:
The urgency and pride of owning a DCP is not yet apparent (low activation)
The drive for comprehensive data completion is low compared to LinkedIn and traditional CVs (PDF version)
Challenges:
How might we increase the activation and engagement of users with the DCP?
How might we improve the comprehensive data completion to compete with LinkedIn and traditional CVs?
How might we enhance the user interface to simplify and motivate the process of creating and maintaining a DCP?
How might we integrate advanced methods of hard skills and soft skills profiling to make DCPs more attractive and useful?
Success criteria:
Qualitatively:
User interviews and feedback highlight enhanced user experience and ease of use.
Positive user reviews about the improved DCP's hard skills and soft skills profiling.
Quantitatively:
Increase in DCP activation by 25% in the next quarter.
15% increase in comprehensive data completion compared to the current state.
Reduction in user drop-off rates during the DCP creation and maintenance process by 20%.
Proposal:
Revamp the user interface to simplify the data entry process, making it more intuitive and engaging. Use clear prompts for hard skills and soft skills to guide users.
Communicate a data security and clear value proposition for the DCP compared to LinkedIn and traditional CVs. Highlight the benefits of a comprehensive skills profile.
Introduce work around elements to motivate users to complete their DCPs and keep them updated (could be gamification or other solution that you might think works).
