1. How to access and use the MGIMM tool.

1. Please click the link below to sign up using your email.

2. You will be directed to portal login page. Please enter the email address that you will use for the entire assessment.

⁠

Once you sign up, you will receive an email with a login link. Click the “Confirm email” login link to access the MGIMM portal. It is important that you always use this link to access the portal and complete the assessment.

Once you have clicked the link, you will be taken to the MGIMM portal and see two forms in three languages: Myanmar, English, and Chinese. The two forms are:

The Factory Profile and Assessment – a one-time assessment to be completed by answering the questionnaire and uploading the documents as evidence.

The Monthly Tracker – to be completed monthly by providing numerical data.

for topics covered in the assessment and details of the documents required.

Please select the language of your choice and begin the assessment. You must complete both sets of forms.

2. What features are provided to help you answer the assessment?

After completing the Factory Profile, you will begin answering the questionnaire for the assessment. Each question has the following features to help you answer the question.

1. Read the assessment question. Some questions have provided explanations to help you understand the question.

2. Answer Yes or No. This is a mandatory response. If you answer ‘yes’, further boxes will appear for the ‘Supporting Evidence’ and ‘Evidence Reference Page’.

3. Please read the description for what kind of evidence is required and upload document evidence. You can upload multiple documents or you can skip this if you don’t have any document to upload.

4. Please indicate specific page number(s) relevant to the question. You can skip this if you don’t need to provide the page number(s).

3. How can you save your answers?

Your answers will be saved when you press “Next” button at the end of each assessment topic. This means you will need to complete a topic in order to be able to press “Next”.

Your answers will not be saved unless you press the “Next” button at the end of each assessment topic.

⁠

4. Can you resume your answers halfway through the assessment? Will your answers be lost if you close the window or shut down the computer in the middle of the assessment?

It’s ok if you are unable to complete the assessment in one go. You can always resume the assessment after closing your window or shutting down your computer. Just click the login link you received from your signed up email.

5. What about the link expiration?

In your login email, you will see a message that says, “This secured login link expires in 2 weeks”. If you are unable to complete the assessment within 2-week time, you can always go to the MGIMM access link

, enter your email address again, and another login link will be sent to your email. But you must use the same email you have used previously to complete the forms you have started before.

6. Can you forward or share the login link or portal to another person or device?

The answers you have made in the assessment will be visible to another person or on another device if you share the login link or portal link to them. However, if you and another person answer simultaneously, answers will not be saved unless if either one of you have pressed “Next” button.

7. Completing the assessment

All the forms must be completed until the end using the signed-up email. Factory Profile and Assessment will only be scored if you complete all the questions and click the “Submit” button at the end.

It is technically impossible to take part in MGIMM assessment with multiple emails. For example, suppose you sign up with

and answer first half of Factory Profile and Assessment and your colleague helps answering the second half of Factory Profile and Assessment using his signed up email

xyz@testmail.com⁠

. In that case, the tool will register the factory assessment from

abc@testmail.com⁠

as one entity and will not be scored as you have not completed it. Similarly, your colleague cannot begin the assessment in the second half of the assessment using

xyz@testmail.com⁠

as it is impossible to skip the mandatory questions from the first half. To sum up, the assessment must be completed via the portal accessed through one single signed up email.

8. Will you be able to update your answers after you have clicked ‘Submit’?

Yes, you will be able to update the answers by login in again with the same login link you received from your signed up email.

9. Deadline to complete the form

The first assessment period is from 28th Oct 2024 to 20th December 2024. After this assessment period, the MGIMM portal will be closed for data consolidation and analysis. You will not able to access the portal after the deadline.

The exact date of the second assessment period will be announced by July 2025.

10. When will you be able to see the results?

You will be notified via email when the results are available to view online. The expected timeline to see the results of first assessment is the end of January 2025.

11. What types of documents can you upload? Are there any limitations for the file size and the number of files?

You can upload multiple files of any kind. There is no limit to the number of files. The file uploads can be up to 1 GB per file with no restriction on the total files uploaded.

12. What about the Worker Survey? How can you help with it?

Please encourage your factory workers to take part in the Worker Survey. The survey is designed to be completed within 15 mins. The survey can be accessed through the following link or QR Code:

13. What can you do if you have trouble with internet connectivity or any other issues?

Please feel free to contact the MGIMM team at the following address, and provide contact person name, email, phone and a brief description of the issue you are facing. MGIMM team will get back to you within a working day.
