I created this deck while in college when Flipkart came for placement. Flipkart APM program was my first exposure to Product Management

Goodera APM deck
After I bombed my interview for the Flipkart APM role, there was a new hope. Goodera was coming to campus with their product profile.
They had 3 rounds.
1. Aptitude test
2. Group activity where a group of 5 have to make a deck in I guess (1-2 hours)
3. Personal Interview
Guess what, I didn't even make it through the 1st round. Anyways since I was passionate and a little bit stubborn, I didn't give in and spoke to one of the founders of Goodera to give me a chance. He agreed on 1 condition that I would have to create the deck alone. While we're having this conversation some good samaritan (who also didn't make it to round 2) overheard and asked to be included in this saying that it won't be fair to give me a wildcard.
Anyways the founder got pissed and said that we can't be added as a wildcard amidst the placement process and asked to send the deck separately to him.
It was then I made this deck but I couldn't send him the deck because I forgot to ask him for his email ID.
Fun fact: Amazon did implement the solution (in the last slide) that I suggested in the deck.

Joveo APM Intern application
After things didn’t work out for Flipkart and Goodera, maybe it was destiny, I saw an ad for Joveo APM Intern program and applied. But I didn’t get any response from them 😔. Desperate for a break, I pinged the then Joveo’s CPO and CTO Jahangir Mohammed. Here’s how the conversation went
At Joveo’s office I had one interview and were asked to create a deck on the following problem statement.

Re-imagining G-Meet end screen
We all have been there, attending never-ending calls remotely and for all (or rather most) of these calls, we have been welcomed by a useless end screen.
This screen always stuck to me as a dead-end serving no purpose other than allowing me to re-join if required. So I spent a couple of hours and took it upon myself to try and think how can this inevitable yet useless screen can be re-imagined to solve real problems.
I have focused on two major problems that I and the people I know face the most.
1. Losing the in-call chats and the links within
2. Having to go back to the calendar to see and join the next call
21 days lockdown grocery list
Amidst the lockdown imposed by the govt. in Mar 2020, my flatmates and myself were confused about what to buy and how much to buy. We did all sorts of calculations and measurements to figure out what all the groceries we needed.
From the lens of a product manager, I could see that this could be a problem for many bachelors and newly married professionals living away from their parents. So I prepared a grocery list to survive the upcoming 21 days.

I had came across this list of 10 things that require ZERO talent. I thought of converting it to a poster and sharing it on LinkedIn
Thought process on “Should NextLeap build an LMS?”
I had taken part in one of NextLeap’s Decision making for Product Manager sprint and I was blown away with not just by the learning material and how Arindam taught us but also with the overall product they had built. Right from the invitation mail to the end celebration call, it was an amazing learning experience and a masterfully crafted product.
Having chatted with the NL team during and after the Sprint on different topics, I was impressed with the quality of people that Arindam and Yasir had managed to bring together.
So when I heard that they are hiring in their Product team, I spent a couple of hours and created this doc to detail my thought process on “Should NextLeap build an LMS?” and shared it with them along with my resume
This is a side project that I am currently working on. Since this is something that I might want to publish in future, I don’t want to share the designs in a public link but I would love to show this over a call.
