Once a Team has been created (via data feed or ), users cam be assigned to a Team to limit or manage access within the system.
Once a users is assigned to a team, they ONLY have access do data that is linked to that team.
For example, if a user is assigned as a member of of Company Z (and only company Z), user will only have access to clients or Models that are linked to Company Z. They will not have access to clients or Models that are linked to any other Team within the system.
Assign User to Team
To first view users current assigned to a team, click Settings > Agents > Agent Name. Then click on the name of the Team you wish to manage.
There are two scenarios where a user will added to a team.
1) A new user is created within a team. (For example, a new Model Manager user is added to a team)
2) An existing user is granted access to a team. (For example, an existing user with Model Manager Access to Team 1, is given Model Manager Access to Team 2)
Create New Model Manager
A new Model Manger can be added directly into the team by clicking the New Model Manager button.
This will bring up the new user dialog. Once the new user is created, a password reset can be triggered directly from the screen.
Assign Model Manager Role to Existing User
To assign an existing user to a Model Manger role in the team click the Assign Model Manager Button.
This will bring up a searchable dropdown where you can search for available users
Once you have found the user you wish to add as a Model Manager, click on their name and they will automatically be added to the Team as a Model Manager.
Client Access
When adding a user to a Team, you can also control whether the user has access to view Client data or no. To allow a user to view client data, click the Client Level Access checkbox.
If the checkbox is NOT selected, the user will only see aggregate data within the Team structure.
