White Salmon City Lab Board

Background:
In March 2021 the City of White Salmon declared a climate crisis. recognizes that from our city to our planet, we are facing an unprecedented change in global temperature. Our changing climate is causing increasingly damaging effects on our forests, health, economies, and livelihoods.

The declaration also tasks the City with working alongside our residents to identify and provide support to the most vulnerable parts of our community.

Following the declaration, the City created a group called . The purpose of the group is to determine how White Salmon should respond to the climate crisis and its effects on our way of life.

The City Lab Board currently has 5 members, but all residents of White Salmon with interest are invited to apply to join. Otherwise meetings are held on the last Tuesday of every month and are open to the public to attend via Zoom.
