Goal 1: Improve student engagement /learning gap
Performance Objective 1 - 80% of all students will improve their incoming grades by the next grade check after enrollment.
Evaluation data Sources:
UIL Grade-checks/progress reports/report cards
Strategy 1
Students will have mandatory tutoring if they are not passing their classes with a 70 or above.
Tune-up Tuesday/Thursday or Super Saturday tutoring
Strategy 2
Teachers will teach students to use AVID strategies.
Strategy 3
Students will qualify for a monthly “lunch bunch” for showing improvement, outstanding community service, attendance, and behavior.
Strategy 4
Students will utilize an academic planner, which both teachers and parents will check daily
