This document outlines the requirements for introducing an optional step for adding default tasks during the service creation process within Agency Handy. This feature allows Agency Owners to streamline task management by automatically creating default tasks when new orders are generated.
User Stories:
As an Agency Owner, I want to define default tasks during service creation that will automatically apply to new orders, helping me save time on recurring tasks.
Functional Requirements:
1. Default Task Addition:
Optional Step in Service Creation:
Agency Owners can add multiple default tasks using a single-line text box during service creation.
Once saved, these tasks will automatically be created when a new order is generated.
2. Exclusion for Subscription Orders:
Subscription-based Orders:
For subscription-based orders, starting from the second order onwards, the system will not apply default tasks.
Instead, the tasks from the previous order will automatically be copied to the new order.
3. Task Management:
Task Visibility:
Default tasks added during the service creation process will appear in the task list for each new order.
When a default task is created those tasks should be client review enabled.
We are doing this so that after purchase client can see that the work has already started.
Users (Super Admin, Admin, PM) can modify or remove tasks after the order is created.
4. Notifications:
Notifications will be sent to the Agency Owner or relevant team members when a new order is created, including the default tasks.
Acceptance Criteria:
Default Task Addition:
During service creation, an optional step to add default tasks must be visible.
Tasks added must be automatically created when a new order is placed for the service.
Subscription Order Logic:
Default tasks should only apply to the first order of a subscription.
For repeat orders, the system must copy tasks from the previous order.
Task Management:
Admin users must have the ability to modify or remove default tasks after an order is created.
Notification System:
Notifications should trigger when new orders are created, listing the default tasks.
