Sync your data into Coda and make changes seamlessly.
Integrate your external tools.
As you’ve heard throughout this handbook, Coda connects to Jira, GitHub, and Greenhouse so you can bring data from your issue trackers, repos, and hiring pipeline into Coda to create a true single source of truth. But Coda integrates with pretty much everything else, too. There are over 600+ Packs in the Coda Gallery for you to choose from, so the chances are if you don’t see your favorite tool below, you’ll find it in the
We know that while Coda can replace hundreds of standalone apps, there are still critical tools that you need to get the job done. Coda complements your essential tools by allowing you to bring that data into Coda so you aren’t toggling back-and-forth or copy/pasting between tools. We like to say that Coda enhances your other tools because it lets you connect disparate data sources to your actual work in Coda so that you can see the full picture in one place.

Create custom integrations in hours, not weeks.
One of the most powerful—if not liberating—features of Coda that I’ve found as an engineering leader is the ability to build my own integrations in hours, instead of weeks or months.
If you need to connect to an internal tool or something else that we don’t have a Pack for yet, you can also build your own integration in the Pack Studio.
In the Pack Studio, you can write, deploy, and manage your Packs without needing to download any code or spin up any servers. We have a web-based editor and a CLI, but either way, you can build private, custom Packs for your team.
If you’re interested in learning more, I’d highly recommend watching this 5 min video. Our Developer Advocate, Eric, walks through how to building an IP Geolocation Pack with less than 50 lines of code.
Coda has always been built for teams. So when we started developing Packs, we designed them for the largest enterprise organizations to use. And the immediate priority for enterprise organizations was security.
Instead of relying on the Pack maker to meet specific requirements for each of their Packs, we designed the Packs platform to abide by a strict protocol globally that would ensure organizations with the most stringent security requirements can use Packs. Specifically, Packs:
Restrict network requests: Packs can only share data with the website they say they do.
Lock down authentication: Developers never have access to users’ login credentials, Coda handles it all.
Evaluate code in a secure sandbox: Packs run in a dedicated sandbox, isolated from other Coda infrastructure and other Packs.
You can also extend Coda by connecting to the Coda API directly. Our API lets you read and write data to your Coda doc, so you can go beyond integrations found in the Gallery to truly customize your experience.
