Recently, we closed a $4M seed round led by Contrary Capital, Base Case Capital, and others.

We’re hiring founding team members across Engineering, Design, Product, and Sales to help us go from zero to one. As first hires:

You are the generative and formative components of our culture. The rituals of the institution will be built on how you operate.

You own the tactical foundation of the company for product, engineering, GTM motion, brand/design.

Frontend Engineer

Architect and build core frontend for our browser-based collaborative cloud platform Own technical roadmap of features as they related to the customer facing experience Iterate quickly with Design and other engineers to deliver super-fast, extremely intuitive experiences in the web browser Create flexible infrastructure and components so we can move quickly and maintain a cohesive design language as the team and product grow

Fullstack Engineer

Architect and build the end-to-end application of our core product Work across our whole stack: frontend, backend, infra, data engineering to ship our core platform Develop robust and secure 3rd party integrations and internal APIs Stand-up the key infrastructure (Kubernetes, Docker, CloudRun, time-series databases) that will keep page load times short, queries blazing fast, and our GCP bill manageable

Backend Engineer

Architect and build containerized cloud services that will power our core platform and 3rd party-integrations Work across our whole stack: frontend, backend, infra, data engineering to ship our core platform Develop robust and secure 3rd party integrations and internal APIs Stand-up the key infrastructure (Kubernetes, Docker, CloudRun, time-series databases) that will keep page load times short, queries blazing fast, and our GCP bill manageable

Designer

Own UI/UX and product design lifecycle of our core product (many screens!) Architect a simple design system that helps Product + Engineering spin-up new features and experiences rapidly Ship collateral for us to use in demo environments and go-to-market functions Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Sales, to reconcile business and product objectives into designs

What you're good at

Javascript/Typescript, React, some kind of state management libraries

WebAssembly is a plus

Comfortable using internal APIs to build very complex interfaces and components

We work together

Very soon we’ll be moving into a dedicated office in downtown San Francisco (SOMA / Design District)

Once we do so, our working model will be “default in-person”

Default in-person: you are in the office unless there is a specific reason not to be i.e. you’re onsite with customers, you’re at a conference

Why? We think that this is critical to correctly set the direction and tempo for the company in our early days. Building connections with one another is just as important as building the product and doing so in person is a qualitatively different experience from doing so over Zoom.

We care deeply about output and results, so we’re trying to stack the deck in favor of that by doing our work together, in-person.
