An Episode is, put simply, a length of time spent on a single challenge by you and your team. It consists of at least four draws, any of which can be replaced with a prompt or added onto depending on the exact structure:
The Nature of the Challenge: Who or what is the problem? What happens if you ignore the problem? A negative card in this section usually means the problem has been around for longer than you thought. You and Your Team’s Strategy to Beat It: How do you plan to solve the problem? Brute force? Outsmarting? Convincing? You draw three cards for this. A negative card means that part of the plan failed. If two or more of your cards are negative, head to... The Fallout: What happened after the challenge beat you? What happened to your team? A negative card here means the Fallout was... surprisingly helpful actually. Maybe the villain had plans to defeat a worse villain you didn’t have a plan for or even know about. Lesson Learned: What did you learn while defeating (or failing to defeat) the challenge? A negative card here means you learned a bad lesson, which will bite you in the bum later. Bonding Time!: Create the Personal Deck and draw a card from it, then draw a card from your main deck. What did you learn about your ally? If you got your own card, what did you learn about yourself? A negative card from the main deck means your opinion of your ally got worse or a misunderstanding begins.
