The Story Goes On
This is a solo journaling game for stories with defined chapters or episodes. You will need a tarot deck and prompts, either from this game’s examples or ones you create.
You will not use reversed meanings as in divination, and they may also be called negative cards. Reversed cards in this game have their own role. Shuffle them in as normal.
Choose or assign a team of allies. For each ally, draw and record a card. This card represents your relationship with that ally. Reversed cards mean you start off on the wrong foot. Draw a card for yourself as well. If reversed, you will have a major arc about confronting your flaws.
These cards form your Personal Deck. Keep track of it. Do not change their orientation when shuffled. When you meet someone new, you may draw a card for them and add it to your Personal Deck. You may also remove allies who are no longer around.
