What A Season Could Look Like

Episode 1–2 (Setup Arc)

Specialists (9 dice) are ~96% to hit D4 with conversion, so early challenges are often won, but Partials mean Conflicts start appearing immediately.
Antagonist might already carry 1–2 T2 Conflicts on purpose for the +dice edge.
Audience Bias is more static, Sentiment gains are straightforward.
Result: Characters get locked into arcs early; Emotional and Antagonist archetypes grab the spotlight fast.

Episode 3–4 (Bias Shift #1)

Bias flip changes which archetypes benefit — e.g., Chaotics get a surge, or Viewers reward team players.
Difficulty 5 checks start showing up; specialists still hit ~85% with conversion, but non-specialists need group rolls to win.
Conflicts escalate — some T2 resolve into T3, driving Audience intrigue.
Result: Bland begins showing subtle moves; Antagonist now sitting on +2 dice bonus, making them dangerous in both challenges and vote defense.

Episode 5–6 (Mid-Late Game Crunch)

Difficulty 6 checks now appear, where even 12 dice = ~93% with conversion — meaning failure becomes notable again.
Vote penalties from T3 Conflicts hit harder; Antagonist’s “Irredeemable” keeps them viable while others crumble under penalties.
Destiny Dice economy spikes as players try to hedge against the ramped stakes.
Result: Audience Bias #2 flip creates last-minute popularity swings, forcing unlikely alliances.

Episode 7–8 (Finale Arc)

Many players carry multiple unresolved T2/T3 Conflicts — making scenes intense even when checks succeed.
Bias may crown a dark horse winner (Bland who suddenly flips archetype, Performer who nails a huge spectacle).
Antagonist with +3 dice is now terrifying in direct checks but potentially one bad audience mood away from elimination.
Finale checks at D6–7 create real uncertainty, even for specialists — drama payoff is highest here.
Result: Endgame feels like a scramble between mechanical competence and audience manipulation.
Your biggest pacing lever is how often you tempt them to convert Partials. If they always do it, the show is about living with Conflicts; if they’re stingy, the show’s about public failures and wild reversals.
