Jock

🏋️‍♂️ Jock Archetype – "The Power Player"

“I don’t think—I do.
Playstyle: Jocks dominate Physical challenges, surge forward before thinking, and often win or fail loudly. While they can be a blunt instrument, they’re also loyal, emotional, and capable of surprising growth when tested. The Jock archetype encourages big moments, physical drama, team loyalty, and inner conflict hidden behind toughness.

🧩 Core Traits

Excels at Physical rolls, group challenge frontlining, and hero moments
Emotional volatility = fuel for Conflict and growth
Best when in rivalries, crushes, or loyalty dilemmas
Audience loves them when they’re winning—or breaking

🎲 Destiny Dice Rules – Jock Archetype

You may spend Destiny Dice to:
1. Go Through It Anyway
“Walls don’t stop me. They just slow me down.” Spend 1 Destiny Die to ignore one physical consequence for the rest of the scene.
You still suffer the narrative outcome, but you don’t take the mechanical penalty (like Conflict dice loss or Difficulty increase).
Good for powering through pain, exhaustion, or injury—at a cost.
Example: You get “Damaged Leg (T1)” in a scene. You spend a Destiny Die and keep sprinting anyway-with no –1 Success penalty-but still roleplay the limp, and the Conflict remains.

2. Adrenaline Surge

"This isn’t over." Once per scene, spend 1 Destiny Die to gain +1 die to a Physical check after you roll, even if you already failed.
Can’t be used to trigger a Critical Success.

3. Take the Hit

"No, hit me instead." Spend 1 Destiny Die to intercept a Conflict or consequence meant for someone else in the scene.
You take the Conflict (or escalate an existing one), and gain +1 Sentiment if it's physical or emotional.
