Bland

🌀 Boring Bland Archetype – "The Wildcard"

“I don’t know who I am yet. But you’ll remember me when I figure it out.”
Playstyle: You start with no active abilities—but you hoard Destiny Dice, adapt to what your team needs, and can respec into any other Archetype when the time is right. You’re easy to ignore—until you're suddenly the most important player in the episode.

🧩 Core Traits

Begins ability-less, but gains extra Destiny Dice every episode
Can spec into any Archetype mid-episode
Vulnerable to viewer voting early on for being “forgettable”
Becomes more powerful the longer they wait to specialize

🎲 Destiny Dice Rules – Bland Archetype

You may:

1. Hoard Destiny

At the start of each episode, gain +1 bonus Destiny Dice, even without abilities.
You can bank bonus Destiny Dice across episodes (no limit).
Destiny Dice cannot be used for Archetype abilities until you respec.

2. Respec: Wildcard Activation

At any point after Episode 1, you may Respec into one or more Archetypes equal to your current level.
Choose your new Archetype(s). You immediately gain their Tag, Destiny Dice abilities, and any level-based perks up to your current level.
You lose the Wildcard tag and all Bland abilities, but keep your hoarded Destiny Dice.
The later you Respec, the stronger your starting position in the new role.

⚠️ Risks of Being Bland

While you remain unspecced:
You cannot convert Partials into Successes.
You gain –1 Sentiment per episode for being "forgettable."
