Pallet

Upfront note: This feels like a web2 + web3 hiring platform; stands in between HackerOne and Immunefi in terms of target audience. Basically a 伯乐平台

Product

In essence, three different entities interact on Pallet:
Business seeking to hire talents
Connector who are there to bridge job to talents. Note that connectors don’t need to be full-time 伯乐; anyone with a network can become a potential connector.
Talents who have the skills and are looking for a job
And the rest of the business model is very standard: Business post a job, connectors find talents in the Talent Collective (and take a upfront cut as reward), talents fulfill tasks and get paid.
Value-add at Pallet lies in:
Talent Collective: a talent pool, with proper labeling of each candidate. Basically accelerate the talent discovery process a bit more
Buzz Generation: Roles on Pallet get shouted out by community leaders with large scale followings that start conversations about business.
Web2 + Web3: Pallet is trying to cover talents from seemingly different fields and they have indeed got some big name under their belt.

Fee & Revenue

I was unable to see find the details of cut number, but I suspect the platform makes money through two-sided cut: part from the business and part from the talent, and this cut could come in the form of upfront cut or continuous percentage cut. All these models are fairly common in traditional job platforms so it is not something too innovative.

Community

Pallet runs a PR blog which can be accessed here . From my search there seems to have no official Pallet twitter, but KOLs with Pallet are quite active in promoting this platform. So maybe that’s a marketing strategy I don’t quite understand. Engagement seems fine and return seems like a fine level.
