Admission 2.0 - Event Planning

Serve as a masterclass to all universities in the US and Europe, what are the strategies for this new normal. Masterclass for good practices.
Target audience: 500 Universities US and Europe

Brief Description:

Everyday single day we’re experiencing the spreading of new virtual ways of doing things. Classes, workshops, hiring processes, admissions... This event aims to open a discussion in regards to what has changed in a year, how did the schools adapt, were they prepared for it or not? What worked and what did not work?
This could be an opportunity to educate admission associates right now.

Director of Student Recruitment and Admissions, The University of Edinburgh

Biography

Rebecca is Director of Student Recruitment & Admissions at the University of Edinburgh. She is responsible for developing and leading the implementation of the university’s strategy for student recruitment, as well as widening participation, pre-arrival, induction, and admissions.
Rebecca has spoken at national and international conferences on recruitment and admissions issues. She has a particular interest in widening access to higher education via contextualised admissions, and has co-authored published research on the subject. She is a member of various national committees, and Chair of the UCAS Scottish Standing Group.

Jeff Foot is the Executive Director at LewerMark and is responsible for developing new client relationships. He joined LewerMark after spending 17 years at Northwest Missouri State University where he served as Director of Admissions and International Affairs. While at the university he also served as International Affairs Director and Data Specialist for the Intercultural International Center. He has a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Missouri, a Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from NMSU and a Bachelor of Arts Sociology from the University of New Brunswick in Canada. Foot also led the English as a Second Language Program at Byuk Sung College in South Korea from 1998 to 2000.

Jeffrey J. Selingo is an author and former editor of The Chronicle of Higher Education. He is author of College (Un)Bound: The Future of Higher Education and What It Means for Students, and is a professor of practice at Arizona State University.He worked at The Chronicle in a variety of reporting and editing roles. His work has been honored with awards from the Education Writers Association, Society of Professional Journalists, and the Associated Press, and he was a finalist for the Livingston Award for Young Journalists.He received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Ithaca College and a master’s degree in government from the Johns Hopkins University. He has been a featured speaker before dozens of national higher-education groups and appears regularly on regional and national radio and television programs, including on NPR, PBS, ABC, MSNBC, and CBS. His writing has also appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal.
