The course is presented in four, 1-hour modules:

This workshop examines topics related to finance as it relates to how social and environmental issues are being incorporated into both traditional and new forms of finance. It explains what is happening in the equity and debt markets, and explores topics such as SRI, the equator principles, institutional investors and shareholder actions, slow money, and impact investing related to sustainability. By the end of this workshop, you will understand both conventional and non-conventional methods of financing such as micro-finance and crowdfunding and recognizes a variety of alternative approaches that support positive social and environmental results.

GRI 207: Tax, 2019 Standard is the first global public reporting Standard for tax transparency. It enables organizations to better understand and communicate information about their tax practices publicly. This Standard combines management approach disclosures on tax strategy and public country-by-country reporting on business activities, revenues, profit and tax.
This learning module will explain some tax related concepts and help you to understand tax as a sustainability topic. It will explain tax related impacts and who is asking for tax related information. You will also get familiarized with some of the latest trends on tax transparency and how GRI 207: Tax relates to other tools such as the SDG’s.
