Weekly Coaching Focus Sheet

How to Use the Weekly Coaching Focus Sheet - you send the Focus Sheet twice. The First time filled in immediately after the Coaching Session, and again when it has been fully completed, 24hrs before the next Coaching Session.
Immediately following each Coaching session You complete the following sections of the Focus Sheet and email/fax it over to your Coach;
The Number 1 Thing I have learned from Today’s Call – this is REALLY important as it gives You the opportunity to confirm what you have learned as a direct result of the Coaching Session. This must be completed each week.
Goals 1, 2, 3 & 4 – all agreed Weekly Goals must be identified in the sheet. The Weekly Goals should adhere to the SMART principle and be aligned with Your 90 Day Plans. Filling this in also ensures that You and your Coach are both in alignment as to what needs to be completed between sessions.
Things to Fax / Phone / Post / Email – what have You agreed to send your Coach before the next Coaching Session. This may be reports or material to critique
Actions for the Coach – if your Coach has agreed to do something then it must be recorded. This may be to send a book, provide a critique, send a document etc
24 Hrs before your next Coaching Session You send your Coach the same Focus Sheet but this time all sections must be fully completed.
Goal Achieved? – you must indicate which of the Goals have been achieved before the Coaching Session, and add any supporting comments that validate the results.
My Brightest Achievement – You will always have achieved something positive – you must identify key wins – even if you have had a tough week, we need to find the positives in every situation.
My Main Challenge – You will have challenges, and it is important to share them with your Coach so you can work them through them effectively.
Something I learnt - It is really important that You continue to learn grow and develop your skills as a result of your Coaching. Remember that Learning can come from books, DVD’s, seminars – and also just living life and recognizing that lessons are available to us everywhere.
At the moment my greatest focus – Again a key here is to ensure that you are working not only ON the Business but on the appropriate aspects of it. This is a key point for accountability and results.
As my Coach you can help me out – Another key area of the document. This will enable you to get the greatest value at the Coaching Session because your coach can prepare to deal with what you write here.
Briefly Speaking;
Hrs Working ON my Business – as opposed to working IN the business, again great reference point here for accountability, working to your Default Diary, and keeping up your commitment to their Goals.
My Motivation Level is at _% - whilst this may only be a snapshot it is a good indicator to how much energy or stress you have to move forward – or perhaps as a result of external factors. If motivation drops below 60% then You and your Coach will refer back to Alignment, 90 Day Plans and personal objectives. Motivation is a barometer of the Coaching Program
Business is___________ - You describe how the Business is this week. It may be great, good, worrying, fun etc. and again this is an emotional response to logical system, which enables your coach to dig into what will make a difference.
I Have Concentrated On – when You are working on Margins in Mastery or the rest of the 5 Ways in Niche, this is a key focus point to make sure that You is working on the appropriate area of the Business
I Have Also Worked On – this links in to the 4 Ways and keeps You focused on Business Growth activities consistently. One of the possibilities is that when one level is “completed” You may let the disciplines slide – this is your opportunity to get back on track.
