Nanny Tells Janie she wants her to " pick from a higher bush and a sweeter berry" (Page 13) What does Nanny mean? What do adults want you to do? Is it the same as what you want for yourself?
Notebook Session:
As a class we will update our character charts, chapter summaries, and dive into a few Key Quotes.
Independent Work:
One Pager: Chapters 1-4 Write a letter to Janie giving her advice. Should she follow her heart and marry Joe? Should she stay with Logan? Should she choose a different path? What would you do?
Homework:
Read Chapters 5-6( Due November 9th)
