What Do I Value

Instructions:

Understanding your values as an adult can be a key step in developing a sense of purpose and direction in life. Here are some steps you can take to better understand your values:
Reflect on your past experiences:
Think about the times when you have felt the most fulfilled, satisfied, and proud of yourself.
What were you doing during those times?
What values did you express or live by?
Identify your priorities:
Make a list of the things that matter most to you in life.
These could include things like family, career, health, spirituality, or creativity.
Prioritizing these areas can give you a sense of what is most important to you.
Consider what motivates you:
What drives you to take action and pursue certain goals?
Is it a desire for recognition, a need to help others, or a love of learning?
Understanding your underlying motivations can help you identify your values.
Look to role models:
Identify people you admire and respect, and consider what values they embody.
This can help you identify the qualities and characteristics you most value in yourself and others.
Pay attention to your emotions:
Think about the times when you have felt the most passionate, enthusiastic, or energized.
What values were you expressing or living by in those moments?
