the reason for the type file to be the highest level of organization is that i will handle heavier type of files differently — i will/might make more backups of files that are cheaper to back up (ex.: audio files vs video files)
the reason the year is the 2nd level of organization is so i only keep the hdd (and its backups) for the current year with me as i transfer new files i produce on it
i’m thinking of putting person i was with at a higher level of organization, maybe the 3rd one, because it would allow me to easily share the content of people i’m with with them, hence providing extra backups, maybe help them preserve themselves (and maybe enticing them to start lifelogging themselves)
