Functional Team Members: 2024 MURI Meetings, Day 3-4⁠

Purpose Statement:

The meeting will assemble project teams sponsored by the ONR MURI grant on the topic of Climate Change Risk and Decision Superiority. The two project teams are the SIO-led team on the project titled Sea‐Level Rise in the Indo‐Pacific Region: Building a Framework for Interdependent Resilience (PI: Mark Merrifield, University of California, San Diego), and the University of Michigan-led team on the project titled Decision-Making with Uncertainty for DoD Installations under Climate Change Impacts on Flood Risks (PI: Xun Huan, University of Michigan).

The meeting objectives are to:

inform the collective project teams about one another’s project objectives, tasks, scope and locations of study, methods, and team personnel and functional roles.

present challenge areas within the projects and identify potential solutions.

explore similarities and differences in methods and research areas between projects.

establish a working relationship between team personnel for the benefit of both projects.
