Scope of Work

Your Situation

Children of Uganda takes a stand against poverty, food insecurity and social injustice in Uganda by empowering women, children and entire families. During the pandemic, Children of Uganda has not been able to fundraise normally, and due to continued physical distancing now must hold a virtual fundraising event. Executive Director Pamela Brannon reached out to the Virtual Gala Collaborative to help produce this event. We feel confident that we can help Children of Uganda create a virtual fundraising event that celebrates 26 years of impact in Uganda, raises necessary funds, and creates a strong sense of community among COU supporters – even those on different continents.

Scope Summary

From May 1 – October 30, 2021, Marketing Mission will work with Children of Uganda on a holistic plan for an international virtual fundraising event.
Our scope will include overall counsel to guide all aspects of the event as desired, including:
Messaging and audience development
Digital marketing and social media advertising
Technology related to networking and giving platforms
Digital/social marketing and advertising, including creation of content for COU staff to execute and feedback on any content created by staff
Production of pre-recorded video segments of the broadcast and strategy for accomplishing the filming of new video elements in Uganda once they are determined.

We would help advise COU on equipment and process for filming in Uganda. COU staff would be involved in the conceptualization and approval of all edited segments. This element can only be exactly priced once the livestream program and run-of-show have been designed; we have provided an estimate range below. Our hourly rate for video editing is $75/hr. A good rule of thumb for budgeting is to expect that it takes about 1-1.5 hours of editing to produce each minute of final polished video.
