Hour 5-6: Connecting Airtable to Web Development Platforms
Introduction to web development platforms (e.g., Webflow, Bubble)
During this part of the session, we'll be introducing you to different web development platforms like Webflow and Bubble. Webflow is a design tool that allows you to create responsive websites without writing any code, while Bubble is a visual programming language that allows you to build software applications without any prior coding experience. Both platforms are powerful tools for creating web applications and both have the ability to integrate with Airtable.
Step-by-step guide on how to connect Airtable to these platforms
After giving you an overview of these web development platforms, we'll walk you through the process of connecting Airtable to these platforms. This will involve generating API keys from your Airtable base and providing them to the relevant platform. We'll demonstrate how you can manipulate and display data from your Airtable base on your web application using these platforms.
Hands-on exercise: Connecting Airtable to a chosen web development platform
For the hands-on exercise, you will be asked to choose either Webflow or Bubble, and we'll guide you through the process of connecting your Airtable base to your chosen platform. By the end of this exercise, you should be able to fetch and display data from your Airtable base on your web application.
This session will give you a solid understanding of how to connect Airtable to web development platforms, which is a crucial step in building web applications using Airtable. It will also give you an opportunity to familiarize yourself with these platforms and their integration capabilities.
