At this point, you've spent the better part of your day working hard on your project. Now it's time to take a step back and share your progress. The Daily Progress Presentation is a crucial part of our collaborative learning process, and here's why:
Share Achievements: Each team will have the floor to showcase what they've accomplished during the day. Did you create a well-structured Airtable base? Have you designed a sleek interface in Softr? Or perhaps you've successfully integrated a third-party service? No matter how big or small, this is your moment to shine and share your accomplishments with the class.
Discuss Challenges: Building a web application isn't always smooth sailing, and it's likely you've run into some challenges along the way. This is the perfect time to bring up any issues you're facing. Remember, the goal isn't just to present a polished end-product but to engage in an authentic learning process. It's through overcoming these challenges that real learning happens.
Outline Next Steps: This is also a great time to discuss your plans for the next day. What do you aim to achieve? Which parts of your application will you focus on? By discussing your plans openly, you not only set clear expectations for your team but also allow for constructive input from your peers and instructors.
Feedback and Learning from Others: Presenting your work to the class allows everyone to learn from each other. Your peers might have solutions to the challenges you're facing, or your project may inspire others in their own work. Similarly, you will learn from the achievements and challenges of other teams.
So, as you prepare for your presentation, remember - this isn't about showing off a perfect project. It's about the learning journey, about problem-solving, and most importantly, about collaborative growth. And of course, don't forget to have fun with it! After all, it's not every day you get to build something amazing from scratch. Good luck!
