Day 13 Hours 1-2

Day 13 Hour 1-2: Forming Project Teams

In this session, we'll focus on creating well-balanced project teams that will work on the special assignment: Building a Web Portal for Erasmus+ KA1 Schools and Training Agencies. Our objective is to ensure that each team is well-rounded and diverse to promote collaborative problem-solving and learning.
Assessing Participants' Skills and Interests: At the beginning of the session, we'll ask participants to share their strengths, skills, and interests that are relevant to the project. This will help us understand each participant's background, expertise, and what they can bring to the team.
Creating Balanced Teams: Using the information gathered, we'll form teams with an optimal mix of skills and experience. Ideally, each team should have members with a variety of skills, such as Airtable expertise, Webflow design experience, third-party integrations, and project management.
Encouraging Diversity: We'll also strive to create teams with diverse backgrounds and perspectives. A diverse team promotes creativity, better problem-solving, and a more inclusive learning environment.
Team Introductions: Once the teams are formed, each team will have an opportunity to introduce themselves and discuss their skills and experience. This will help team members understand their teammates' strengths and how they can best work together.
Team Roles and Responsibilities: Each team will then discuss and assign roles and responsibilities for the project. This might include a project manager to oversee the project, a database designer to handle Airtable, a web designer for Webflow, and a team member to handle third-party integrations. By assigning roles, the team can ensure that every aspect of the project is covered and that each team member is able to contribute effectively.
Establishing Communication Channels: To ensure smooth communication and collaboration throughout the project, each team should decide on their preferred communication channels. This might include setting up a group chat on a messaging platform, creating a shared document for collaboration, or scheduling regular check-ins.
By the end of this session, each team will have a clear understanding of their teammates' skills, strengths, and roles. This will set the stage for effective collaboration and project success.
