Insulation
Important Notes Regarding Foam Insulation: Termite Concerns: If there is any concern about termites or the potential need for termite treatment, please address this before the foam insulation is installed. Foam insulation creates a sealed barrier, which can prevent effective termite treatment from circulating through your home. Once the foam is applied, it may block fumigation or other treatment methods, potentially leaving untreated areas, and prolonged exposure to fumigation gases within a sealed space can be hazardous. Home Evacuation: Home evacuation is required for a minimum of 24 hours following the installation of foam insulation. This allows time for the foam to cure and for any chemicals released during the process to dissipate. For safety, we recommend following all guidelines for proper ventilation and waiting until air quality has returned to safe levels before re-entering your home.
