When you install the plugin to your application, “data tracker” will instantly appear in the input forms section:
Place it anywhere on your page. It is a hidden element, website customers won't see it.
After you upload this element to your page you can create any of 20 data fields. You should create a text field and insert dynamic data to the text field according to the example:
Press insert dynamic data - choose “DataTracker A” - press more and choose desired data element.
(When you insert “datatracker a” required option will be at bottom of the dropdown list)
In order to collect any of these elements into the database, you need to create a workflow and connect desired elements with the database.
First of all, go to the database → data types and create a new type of data. In this type of data, you have to create new fields for every data element you want to collect from the customers.
Once you did that go to the workflow section and create a new event “when the page is loaded”. For this event create an action “create a new thing” and select the name of the data type you made before.
In this event press “set new field” and connect each data field with tracker fields by the example:
After you set it up selected data will be collected in the app data section every time someone visits your app.
It is unnecessary to have visible data on your page to collect that. Just make sure that “data tracker” element is placed somewhere.
When the element is activated you can also use tracker data to set the workflows conditions.
