Kevin Lavelle wrote an exceptional blog post on Medium about his approach to starting a new year. Please, take a few minutes to read it now. Trust me, it's absolutely worth it.
In his post, he outlined how quickly time flies by most of us, and we often have less of it than we can process. This document is a simple tool to help you evaluate your own time and build a more clear perspective of how you want to spend the precious time you have left.
Kevin's article borrowed a framework from Tim Urban's 2014 blog post entitled . Pause here, and go read that article, too
The images below are from Tim's post, and they illustrate the life of someone who lives to be 90 years old (which is rare!).
It turns out that when I graduated from high school, I had already used up 93% of my in-person parent time. I'm now enjoying the last 5% of that time. We're in the tail end. ー Tim Urban
